Bound Brook freshman Andrew Campolattano won the 189-pound state championship by beating Bergen Catholic's Jon Becker 4-2. Camp is BBHS's 15th state wrestling champ. He scored a takedown with 1:30 left in the first period, but was reversed by Becker in the second period. Camp got two escapes and was able to defend two deep single leg shots by Becker along the way.
He finishes his season with 43-0 record. Amazing.
