first rankings

Our first high school wrestling rankings for the season ran in Monday's paper and there were some omissions as usual.

At the bottom of the list, I wrote a short message, saying that only schools who've REPORTED ALL OF THEIR MATCHES would have wrestlers ranked.

If that's the case for your school, and you're a wrestler, parent or fan, please remind your coach to call us with HOME OR AWAY matches. Just in case.

Because of the season being condensed this year with the earlier state tournament date, there are more quad and triangular meets. It's become a challenge, but we'll get through it and the rankings will become more accurate as the season goes on.
