Harry,
Prior to Boro's last 2 games, I would agree with your prediction of BR over Hillsborough on May 5th.....I feel now that Boro has turned it up and around and will take BR for the second time this year. BR wants to beat Hewitt so bad, but not this year.
Harry,
Kind of disrepsecting some of the higher seeds. Just curious what you were thinking?
I think most people out there would like to see a surprise or two. That's why I wanted to change it up a bit. So that's what I was thinking. I think the county tournament has gotten a bit stale. And no, this isn't a reflection on the schools that normally make the final four.
But wouldn't you folks like to see a different group of schools make a splash this year? A couple of years ago, we had Rutgers Prep, Bernards, Pingry and Montgomery in the final four.
I thought that gave the tournament some life. Of course, there's nothing better than big schools with their followings filling Commerce Bank Ballpark.
As you saw, three of the top four of the higher seeds made it through to the first round. Does any one of those schools have a legitimate shot of getting to the quarterfinals?
Keep up the good work.
